Corona Virus Update

We at Tailored Counselling are currently following the advice of the government, the NHS and BACP/BABCP.
If you have a cough, high temperature, flu like symptoms suspect that you have the virus or have travelled back from a high risk country, have been in contact with a person who has contracted the virus then please do not attend counselling in person. If preferred we can arrange the continuation of counselling via an online video platform or alternatively temporarily suspend sessions.
Equally if your therapist have been in contact with a person who has contracted the virus, your therapist will notify you immediately and will self-isolate.
Your therapist can health permitting then offer counselling via an online video platform.
If your therapist develops a cough, temperature of flu like symptoms, your therapist will notify you immediately and may be obliged to inform the NHS of people your therapist has been in contact with. In this case, your therapist may need to share your name and contact details but not the context in which your therapist knows you. However, you may be contacted by the NHS.
If through illness your therapist is unable to contact you your therapist will nominate a supervisor or practice associate etc who is bound by strict confidentiality, will be provided with a list of your therapist clients name and contact details and will be in touch.
